Katherine Cunyas Torres, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER®

Volunteer’s Bio

I was born and raised in Lima, Peru. I moved to the U.S. in 2013 right after graduating college.
Since joining JP Morgan in November 2023, I have continued to build on nearly a decade of experience in the financial services industry. My career began at New England Federal Credit Union in 2014, and in October 2019, I transitioned to Morgan Stanley, where I honed my skills in financial planning and investment management.

I am a licensed professional, holding both Series 7 and Series 66 registration licenses. In 2022, I earned my Master's degree in Financial Management from Boston University, further solidifying my expertise in the field. Additionally, I am a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®), a designation that underscores my commitment to providing comprehensive financial guidance.

For me, retirement planning extends beyond offering investment advice. It is about empowering my clients to sustain the financial independence they have diligently worked to achieve. My consultative approach begins with a thorough discussion of your current financial situation and future goals. Together, we will identify potential challenges and adapt your investment strategy to navigate changing conditions, ensuring you are prepared for unforeseen expenses and income needs during retirement.
